Pô-mát is a dated or regional Vietnamese borrowing from French pommade, commonly referring to an ointment: a soft topical preparation applied to the skin or, for specifically formulated products, a mucous membrane.

`Pô-mát` là cách gọi cũ hoặc theo vùng, vay từ tiếng Pháp *pommade*, thường tương ứng `thuốc mỡ`: chế phẩm mềm dùng bôi ngoài da, và chỉ dùng trên niêm mạc hoặc mắt khi sản phẩm được bào chế, ghi nhãn cho vị trí ấy.
