A rare or older Sino-Vietnamese adjective, written 歷落, meaning unevenly spaced, irregularly arranged, or out of alignment. In present-day Vietnamese, lệch lạc is the much more familiar related form, but its broader figurative meanings should not automatically be read back into every older use of lịch lạc.

Trong tiếng Việt hiện nay, dạng liên hệ `lệch lạc` phổ biến hơn và còn mở sang ý nghĩ, thông tin hay cách hiểu sai hướng; không vì vậy mà ép mọi câu `lịch lạc` cũ thành sai trái về tư tưởng. Đây là mục Hán–Việt thật, nhưng việc xếp A–Z vẫn theo khóa Quốc ngữ `lich lac`, độc lập với nguồn gốc từ.
