A rare or regional expression describing many plants, objects, or people fallen or lying spread over the ground. It conveys the visible result — down and scattered across an area — without by itself stating the cause, damage, injury, death, or permanence.

Cụm hiếm/vùng tả nhiều cây cối, đồ vật hoặc người ngã, đổ hay nằm rải trên mặt đất thành một cảnh ngổn ngang: fallen all over the ground, sprawled across the ground. Ví dụ từ điển: `Cây cối ngã liệt địa.` Từ chỉ kết quả nhìn thấy, không tự cho biết do gió, va chạm, chủ ý hay tai nạn; cũng không chứng minh vật đã hư, người bị thương/chết hoặc tình trạng kéo dài. Không tách máy móc thành `liệt` = mất vận động và `địa` = đất để dựng một từ nguyên Hán–Việt khi chưa có nguồn chữ cho toàn cụm.
