To grumble or complain repeatedly about something, often in an irritated tone. The speaker may mutter generally or address another person. Depending on the target and purpose, English may use grumble, complain, or nag, but nag is too narrow for every occurrence.

🇬🇧 To complain repeatedly about the same matter, often in an irritated, persistent tone. The complaint may be directed at someone or voiced generally; good context identifies the issue and, when known, why it persists.
