Rế is a woven pot stand or trivet, traditionally made from rattan, bamboo, or similar flexible material and placed under a pot or pan.

`Rế` là đồ kê hoặc đỡ nồi, niêu, xoong, chảo, theo dạng truyền thống thường được đan bằng mây, tre hay vật liệu dẻo thành vòng hoặc mặt đỡ: `cái rế`, `đặt nồi lên rế` (*pot stand; trivet*). Vật liệu và cấu tạo có thể khác nhau; tên gọi không tự bảo đảm khả năng chịu nhiệt hay tải trọng của một chiếc cụ thể. Phân biệt `rế` với miếng nhấc nồi cầm trên tay, kiềng đặt trên bếp và nắp nồi. Các tổ hợp cũ như `chổi cùn rế rách`, `nồi nào vào rế ấy` mang nghĩa ví von theo cả cụm, không nên lấy làm định nghĩa chính hay dùng để hạ thấp con người. Tab Nôm ghi `𥰆` đúng chứng tích `cái rế (đựng nồi)`.
