Quy cách is a specification or prescribed form: the dimensions, format, technical features, or manner that something is required to follow.

`Quy cách` là tập hợp yêu cầu về kích thước, hình dạng, cấu tạo, định dạng hoặc đặc tính kỹ thuật của sản phẩm, vật liệu hay hồ sơ: *specification; prescribed format*. Từ cũng có thể chỉ cách thức, thể thức đã ấn định để làm một việc. Cần nói rõ `quy cách nào`, phiên bản nào và do tài liệu nào đặt ra; `đúng quy cách` không tự chứng minh vật đạt mọi tiêu chuẩn chất lượng, an toàn, pháp lý hay đúng nhu cầu sử dụng. Phân biệt `quy cách` với `quy trình` là chuỗi bước, `tiêu chuẩn` là tài liệu/chuẩn đánh giá rộng hơn, `quy chuẩn kỹ thuật` là khái niệm pháp lý có tính bắt buộc trong phạm vi áp dụng, và `quy chế` là hệ điều lệ cho hoạt động. Chính tả hiện hành là `quy`, còn `qui cách` là dạng cũ còn gặp. Tab ghi trọn `規格`.
