Nhựt trình is an older, especially Southern literary form of nhật trình, referring to a newspaper or the periodical press, often a daily paper.

Nhựt trình là cách viết và cách đọc cũ, thường gặp trong văn Nam Bộ, của nhật trình khi từ này chỉ tờ báo hoặc báo chí phát hành đều kỳ, nhất là nhật báo. Trong văn hiện nay, báo hoặc nhật báo tự nhiên hơn. Không nên tự động hiểu nhựt trình là lịch trình hằng ngày; phải xét văn cảnh, và phải giữ nguyên dạng nhựt trong câu trích hay nhan đề nguồn.
