A southern colloquial adjective criticising something as fake, falsely represented, inferior, unreliable, or poorly made. The English choice depends on the evidence: counterfeit or fake for misrepresented identity, and shoddy, inferior, or low-quality for poor performance. Cheap does not automatically mean dỏm.
