An informal Vietnamese word for a question, demand, action, or situation that is awkwardly contrary, unreasonable, or perversely difficult. It often implies that someone is making matters harder than necessary, or that circumstances have turned inconvenient in an oddly specific way.

Từ khẩu ngữ dùng để tả câu hỏi, yêu cầu, cách làm hoặc tình huống oái oăm, trái khoáy hay làm khó một cách không cần thiết. Khi chỉ người, từ thường đánh giá hành vi đang diễn ra chứ không phải phẩm chất cố định. Không đồng nhất mọi việc khó với “cắc cớ”: từ này còn hàm ý sự bất hợp lý, tréo ngoe hoặc cố ý gây vướng.
